Administrator and Bookkeeper


Due to retirement, we are looking for a proactive team member to assist with office administration duties and bookkeeping.

The role will be office based and include answering the telephone, responding to emails, managing general day to day office administrative functions plus carrying out bookkeeping remotely for a range of farming and rural clients. The bookkeeping will include entering sales and purchase invoices, reconciling the bank, submitting VAT returns and running monthly/quarterly reports.

We are looking for someone who uses their own initiative, is friendly, organised, has good communication skills dealing directly with clients, has attention to detail, a ‘can do’ attitude and enjoys working in a small team.

You will be confident in using Microsoft office and previous experience in using Sage and Xero would be advantageous.

Our business will shortly be based in a newly converted rural office located just outside Devizes. We specialise in providing business advice and services to farming and rural clients.  

Appropriate training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Full time position (35 hours per week) or consideration would be given to school hours

Competitive salary dependent on experience
