Interested in receiving a fully funded annual visit from your chosen vet or team of vets?
The Animal Health and Welfare review provides livestock owners the opportunity to receive bespoke advice from a vet of their choice on herd and flock health. Diagnostic testing on endemic diseases are also provided, ensuring the review is completed to each farmer’s specific health and welfare priorities.
To be eligible, your animals must be registered in England, you must be responsible for their welfare, and you must have one of the following:
A single business identifier (SBI) linked to a county parish holding (CPH) number and registered in England will be required, as will a CPH number that is either permanent or temporary (and neither an 8000 or 9000 number).
Those eligible for the Basic Payment Scheme, and who are anticipating making a BPS claim in 2023, can apply for the current phase of the Animal Health and Welfare Review.
