After graduating from Aberystwyth University in Agriculture and Land Management in 2003 and then completing a distance learning course in Surveying at Reading University she worked as a land agent, for 14 years before taking a career break for a couple of years. Cathy joined AKC in 2019 on a self-employed basis, supporting the consultants with BPS, agri-environmental Schemes and other DEFRA Schemes. Currently Cathy helps coordinate the Future Farming Resilience Fund on behalf of the farm consultants, speaking to farmers to book meetings, follow up appointments and form reports.
